Rotary Membership
You could join us and be part of this very active club where fun and fellowship is enjoyed alongside our diverse range of service and fund raising activities.
We were a social network long before Facebook !
A continual influx of new members is vital to sustain the Club, and ensure we can carry on with the plans that we make.
If you're interested in finding out more about Membership, and the many benefits that come with it then email us using. lamplightersrotary@gmail.com.
Rotary Stockport Lamplighter is calling on all community members to consider joining them to make a difference in the world. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.
Rotary clubs are made up of members from all walks of life who share a common goal - to improve their communities and make the world a better place. Members work together to create meaningful and sustainable projects that address some of the world's most pressing issues, such as poverty, hunger, disease, and environmental sustainability.
We even managed to keep active as far as possible during the Covid lockdown and you can see what we achieved by clicking the following LINK.
Joining a rotary club is not just about giving back to your community; it's also an opportunity to develop your leadership skills, build lasting relationships, and make a real impact on the world. Rotary clubs offer members a chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share their passion for making a difference and who are committed to working together to achieve their goals.
The benefits of joining a rotary club are many. Members have the opportunity to:
- Network with other people in their community and beyond
- Develop leadership skills and gain experience in project management
- Make a tangible difference in their community and around the world
- Build lasting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Attend local and international events and conferences
Our Rotary Club is always looking for new members to join their ranks. If you are a person just looking to make a difference, there's a place for you in the rotary family. Please have a ook at he video clip that follows.
