The Rotary Annual Golf Competition was held at Brampton Golf Club on 23 June. 34 teams competed in a 4-person Stableford with a prize fund of over £500. The event raised over £2,000 for Green Door Centre which is an ecumenical youth hub in Brampton, which will be used to help purchase various items of equipment.
Organiser Simon Whitwham said ‘”We are absolutely delighted with the support from all of our sponsors, raffle prize donators, players and of course Brampton Golf Club. Everyone enjoyed the day and the course was in great condition, providing a good test for everyone. This is an enjoyable event whilst raising funds for a very good cause”.
