Race Night Fundraiser

In spring 2023 we held a very successful Race Night in Wetheral attended by many members and guests.  Much fun was had by all and the event helped to raise funds for two local charities, Jigsaw and The Green Door.  

Jigsaw is a Children’s Hospice based in Carlisle who provide support to children and young adults with life limiting conditions throughout Cumbria.  The Green Door Centre is an ecumenical youth project working across all areas in Brampton.

The event included a pie and pea supper, prizes for race winners and additional prizes for the winning owners. The event raised in excess of £400 for each charity.
