Our International and Foundation committee organised a Quiz Night at 'The Barn' R.C. English Martyrs church hall. The quiz master was Bob Smytherman, there were 52 participants and a major highlight was the delicious meal cooked by Rotarian Christine Stanley. Christine undertook this challenging task alone. The main course was excellent and the desserts 'divine'! It was a most enjoyable evening and over £1,000 was raised for The Moroccan Earthquake Appeal. This include over £150 from the raffle. Our warm thanks to the organisers and team who served the meal and washed and tidied up.
