Before any fireworks can be ignited the fire has to be built. Saturday the '4th' November was the big day for Wickford. The Club split into two groups, the sellers and the builders. The photographs in this Gallery features the Builders but it is reported the Sellers had had a couple of very good days selling their programmes/tickets.
I guess that one of the bonuses of fire building is the finishing! At the finish it is becoming traditional to have a piece/slice/lump of hot bread pudding, courtesy of Caroline Wragg.
