As a result of research undertaken by Rtn Jackie Snape, Wickford Rotary is proud to support the Rotary Action Group for Microcredit RAGM, an project run by the Rotary Club of Farringdon in Oxfordshire, and aiming to provide small business loans to small entrepreneurs in Malawi, in order for them to build small businesses to help them support their families, on the basis of "give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, give a man a fishing rod and he will eat for life".
