Young Musician 2007
Young Musicians in the catchment areas of Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon and Burnham on Crouch met and competed for the right of entry to the District Finals to be held at Chelmsford Cathedral on the 10th of March. We came close but not close enough, for our talented young Sophie Chaplin was pipped into second place by the winner Ben Markham. They both played piano. In Fact they both played piano extremely well. It was a great afternoon with plenty of talented young people competing.
