Flexible Friends of Ingatestone Rotary [FFoIR ]

Are you, like many others, keen to help those who need some support, but are not able to commit regular time. Also, not interested or able to go to weekly or monthly meetings, perhaps with meals and speakers. And are unaware of a local group where this can become possible?

Ingatestone Rotary plans to provide the answer, with your help, by setting up a forum where ideas are put forward and discussed in order to improve our community.

Our new group, Flexible Friends of Ingatestone Rotary [FFoIR], will provide busy working people and recent retirees in the Ingatestone area a convenient opportunity  to meet up to plan projects and ‘make a difference’. Flexibility will make it possible for you to discover how your time and efforts can have a meaningful impact within our community. Communication through all types of media will bring people together for a common cause. Attending meetings is an opportunity - not an obligation.

Ingatestone Rotary’s projects currently include: Christmas House-to-House Collections; ‘Proms at the Hall’; Quiz Night; Litter Collection: & Wrap-Up Ingatestone.While we really would appreciate your support with these, you may have a project you feel strongly about and would like FFoIR to support it. As a member of the new group, your idea could come to fruition.

Joining FFoIR is an invitation to connection, service, laughter, leadership, fun and making a difference in your community. An initial meeting will be held on Sunday 10th May from 9:30 to 12:30 at The Lounge, 40 High Street, Ingatestone CM4 9EE
