Wine Tasting Evening
at Ingatestone Hall on Saturday 10th May 2025
Organised by Ingatestone Rotary, this was a chance to taste
some special wines & cheeses.
The event was run by Ed of Taylor Wines, Brentwood.
Seated within the 16th
Century Stone Hall of Ingatestone Hall, a select group of us tasted some
excellent wines from around the world, with details provided by Ed.
This was followed by some light hearted quiz questions on a list of names where
we had to decide if the name was ‘Wine’ or ‘Equine’. The quiz was created by
Christine Blackie and won by Marion Clarkson – whose prize appropriately was a
bottle of wine!
An enjoyable evening which we are sure will be repeated next year. Our thanks
to the organisers, Noelle & Jon and Chris, who chose the cheeses.
