Club Golf Champion 2024

This annual event was played on 5th Nov. 2024 over Crondon Park G.C.

Organised by last year's winner, Neil Macalister, on Tuesday 5th November , four golfers played the first nine at Crondon. Sadly Noelle Hones-Cloke was not able to play as she had broken her elbow several weeks ago.

At 11.20 our group, comprising Honorary Member Dennis Nicol, Friend of Ingatestone Rotary John James, members John Metcalfe & Neil Macalister teed off. It was a dull day without any wind and fortunately no rain.
We all had our moments - Dennis impressed us with his short game - but John came home by 1 point ahead of Dennis, Neil & JJ. It was a really pleasant social meeting - we even shared two large Pizza Margarettas

Perhaps John, as the winner, will arrange for us to play next year down in Sussex?
