Help Required with Christmas Collection

HELPERS REQUIRED FOR CHRISTMAS
HOUSE-TO-HOUSE COLLECTION

CAN YOU HELP?
We are short of Santa’s helpers to accompany the Sleigh for our annual ‘House-to-House’ [H2H] Charity Collection and of helpers for our static collections in the Market Place,  at Ingatestone Christmas Market and at Sainsburys, Springfield.

ARE YOU SUITABLE?
You’ll need to be reasonably fit and able to walk for the H2H task. It will involve sparing us a few hours on one or two evenings to be one of Santa’s Elves!
For the static collections, it’s sparing us an hour or two.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?
The H2H start out  at 5:15 from the Market Place - duly robed as Santa’s helper, you would join a group of about 6 volunteers to cover the streets on that evening’s schedule. Normally we’re finished by 8:30.
The House-to-House collection runs from Mon 9^th Dec till Fri 13^th Dec; it may run over to w/c 16^th if bad weather dictates this.
The static collections are on Saturday 7^th or Sat 14^th  , Sun 8^th  & Sun 15^th Dec.

If you are happy to ‘give it a go’, please email me -  neil.macalister@btinternet.com – advising your name, mobile number and which days you could help. We would then set a schedule for the week and advise you nearer the time which day(s) you have been allocated.

You may want to volunteer with a friend. That would be great – please share this information and let us know your joint availability.

Our provisional Schedule
