Following our successful Summer Evening Jazz in July when we made our highest profit, on Thursday 22nd September we presented cheques to two of our three chosen charities for £3,500.00 each.
The charities were represented by Michael Johnston area Fund Raiser for MARIE CURIE and Rob Saggs CEO of CHESS Homeless who are based in Chelmsford.
Both representatives were very grateful for our ‘very generous’ donations and gave short talks about what their charities do and how we can help their very worthy causes.
Marie Curie’s Michael Johnston explained how their funds were used and seeks volunteers to help with rattling boxes. He can be contacted on 077862 25981 or at 134 Beehive Lane Chelmsford CM2 9SH
Equally Rob Saggs from CHESS Homeless would welcome help with their mission to help the homeless people of Chelmsford and its surrounds.
He can be contacted on 01245 678318 or rob.saggs@chesshomeless.org
