Playing our first tie in the District Winter Sports Competition, we had R.C. of Bishop's Stortford at home.
Captain Ron Johnson selected Helder, Stefan & Neil for the match, which was played at The Prince of Wales, Mountnessing. Ron arranged for sandwiches for the teams.
The match was to be played over 4 Singles, 2 Doubles and all the team for final match.
Ingatestone won Singles 3-1, BS took first doubles match to make it 3-2. Then Captain Ron threw the winning dart nearest the bull to win that doubles to secure victory for Ingatestone 4-2.
It was a very enjoyable social evening - much chat about Rotary and how BS were embracing Hybrid meetings.
Looking forward to another home fixture!
