Cheque Presentation Dinner - 15th Sept 2016

On Thursday 15th September 2016, at the Ivy Hill Hotel in Margaretting, the Rotary Club of Ingatestone presented cheques amounting to £9,440. The source of this charity money was a Quiz Night in February, the Annual Charity Golf Day and the 20th Summer Evening Jazz Concert held in the grounds of Ingatestone Hall on Saturday 2nd July.

From money raised at Summer Evening Jazz Concert in July, Lord Petre of Ingatestone Hall, presented a cheque for £1415 to Anne Brown  -  Head of Fundraising, St. Francis Hospice; a cheque for £1415 to Debbie De Boltz  - Fundraising Manager,  Farleigh Hospice and a cheque for £330 to David Weathersby, Unit Manager, Chelmsford Event Services Unit, St. John Ambulance. The cheque for £280 to Claire Penn (2476 Hutton Squadron - A.T.C.) will be presented to Claire at her H.Q.,as she was unable to attend on the night.

From money raised at our Charity Golf Day in May, Lord Petre presented cheques for £4,500 to Hilary Needham, Founder Manager, S.N.A.P. (Special Needs and Parents) and also he presented a cheque for £1000 to Caroline Kew, Area Fundraiser - East, Multiple Sclerosis Society  

From the money raised at our Charity Quiz Night in February, Lord Petre presented a cheque for £500 to Rotarian Paul Harvey, Volunteer Speaker for Prostate Cancer U.K.
From this money a cheque for £1000 has already been posted to Rotary Foundation
