Family BBQ - Sunday 31st July 2016
at the Pudneys
We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day for the Annual Family BBQ and we have to thank Alan & Sally Pudney for their 'hospitality' in holding the event at their lovely home and erecting the canvas shade. .
Thanks go to Helder Lemos for planning the event and for not ruining the delicious Hepburn meats! The wonderful spread of salads & desserts were prepared by the members wives. Pimms and an assortment of drinks were available, which were accepted with gratitude by those that took part in the various activities. The grandchildren, many parents, and even a few oldies took part in the familiar egg and spoon race, the sack race and a very competitive rounders’ competition. In addition tennis was played, many used the pool, and the youngsters enjoyed the trampoline under the watchful eyes of parents (see photos - courtesy of Gill, Barry & Neil)
