Cheque Presentation Evening - 18th Sept. 2014

On Thursday 18th September 2014, at the Ivy Hill Hotel in Margaretting, the Rotary Club of Ingatestone presented cheques amounting to 8,200. The source of this charity money was the Annual Charity Golf Day and the 18th Summer Evening Jazz Concert held in the grounds of Ingatestone Hall on Saturday 28th June.

Lord Petre of Ingatestone Hall, presented a cheque for 1,500 to Mr. Paul Gwinn, Trustee of St. Francis Hospice; a cheque for 1,500 to Alison Stevens, Chief Executive of Farleigh Hospice, a cheque for 400 to David Weathersby, Chelmsford Divisional Superintendent of St. John Ambulance Essex and a cheque for 300 to Claire Penn (2476 Hutton Squadron - A.T.C.).

Lord Petre also presented cheques for 2,250 to Ben Long, Fundraising, Kids Inspire and  for 2,250 to Christian Dailly, Ambassador for Maggies (money raised at our Charity Golf Day in May)
