The club committee structure and what we do

CLUB COMMITTEES

Our main committees are:-

- Fundraising, Community & Vocational, Membership, Public Image & Club Admin.

Fund-Raising - this covers the following existing events, new projects, International

and our own charity, Rotary Foundation.

Proms at the Hall
Held in July - our headline event Next year's event will be held on : Saturday 4th July 2025 See details of the event in 2025

Plus other Christmas Collections:- House-to-House Collections + Sainsburys Collection

Also responsible for organising any other new fund-raising events, which will involve the whole club.

Community & Vocational
This committee is responsible for ensuring that the Club supports educational, humanitarian, and vocational projects within the local community and internationally. See webpage

Rotary Foundation [under Fundraising]

It plans and carries out plans to support The Rotary Foundation through financial contributions and Club participation in Foundation programmes.

International [under Fundraising]
It plans and carries out our activities for any overseas projects the club are supporting.

We are currently lending what hands-on help we can to local charity 'Hope and Aid Direct'

Social Activities
These include Treasure Hunts, Visits to Theatres, Places of Interest, The Races, walks and many other things.... organised by members.

Club Admin
It plans and supports all internal club activities; with the emphasis on aiding the Vice-President helping the President.

PAST EVENTS

Golf
This popular event last took place at Maylands Golf Club on Friday 2nd June 2023. Organised by Barry Turner again, it was another great success. See Report with winners - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sadly Barry died early in 2024. The event was not held in 2024 and is unlikely to be held in the future.

as "Ingatestone Festive Fair"
