Hospices receive £3700 from ‘Proms at the Hall’ Concert.

On Thursday 17^th September 2026, at a social gathering of Ingatestone Rotary at the Horse & Groom, Galleywood, cheques for £1850 each were presented to two hospices. The money had been raised at the “Proms at the Hall [PATH] Concert back on 4^th July at Ingatestone Hall.

The 3^rd beneficiary from this event, Ingatestone Infant School, could not attend, so their cheque for £1850 will be presented at a later date.

Michelle Harrington from Farleigh Hospice and Sarah Marshall Reeves from St. Luke’s Hospice both spoke briefly about how this much needed money would be used and of their gratitude for all the efforts by the Rotary Club members in fundraising these most welcome amounts. Ingatestone Rotary thanks all the Sponsors and those who attended ‘PATH’ for their support.
