Morocco Trek Sep 2012

I am Treking in Morocco 13 to 17 September to raise money for First Step.  I am a Trustee of the charity and see first hand the amazing work they do with families and young children with disabilities.  The Trek will have us walking for about 26 hours spread over 4 days,sleeping in a tent with no doubt interesting facilities, no room for the hair straightners!!!. Sounds easy but we will be climbing the Atlas Mountains up to 4200 metres, experiencing weather from hot sun, winds, rain and possibly snow.  Thermals at the ready!!!!  I have some experience in treking having done the Great Wall of China and the Inca Trail in Peru in the past 4 years. At my age I really should know better but the challenge of testing myself, a bossy younger sister who will be doing this with me and the opportunity to raise money for such a worthwhile cause is just too tempting. Lets hope my feet and legs hold up.
