PETER MOCKETT OF ROMFORD RC ARRANGED A SPORTS NIGHT OF PETANQUE (FRENCH BALLS) & MEAL AT “THE TOWER ARMS” P.H.SOUTH WEALD FOR MEMBERS & PARTNERS @ 6.30pm ON MONDAY 10TH OCTOBER

We attended the Romford club's Petanque evening at the Tower Arms in South Weald.

Each team of 2 played 4 matches to decide the winners.

There were 2 winning teams, so lots were drawn to find the eventual winners.

Sue Wilson (Havering East) and David Farr from the Romford club shared first prize.

A lovely Fish and Chip supper was followed by the prize giving.

Eddie Blair commented on how well the 3 local clubs now work together and long may it continue.
