New Generations

Rotary encourages all family members to take part in activities, programmes, and specifically offer the chance for young people to develop personal skills and a better awareness of problems that face the world today. This is an opportunity to meet, work and have a great time with like-minded young people, guided and supported by Rotarians.

We are a new style, no fuss Rotary  without geographical boundaries and open to everyone.  New Generation Rotary is an all inclusive space for adults of all ages and backgrounds to come together to do work locally, nationally and internationally whilst having a lot of fun.

Youth engagement through bees.

Beekeeping offers unique opportunities for our RotaKids and Interact groups:

• Hands-On Learning: Under proper supervision, young people can participate in hive maintenance and honey harvesting
• Scientific Observation: Recording and analyzing bee behavior teaches climate science and biology concepts
• Entrepreneurship: Youth groups can develop honey-based products as micro-enterprises, learning business skills

Empowering our Youth - Rotakids & Interact

Building Transferable Skills Through Club Roles
Each RotaKids and Interact club provides a practical leadership laboratory where young people can:

• Experience Governance: Rotating leadership positions (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer) teaches democratic processes and accountability
• Manage Real Resources: Handling club funds and resources for climate projects builds financial responsibility
• Practice Communication: Documenting activities, reporting outcomes, and promoting initiatives develops essential communication skills
• Learn Meeting Management: Following agendas, recording minutes, and facilitating discussions prepares youth for professional environments
