Christmas Float & Store Collections

Every December we aim to bring joy and Christmas cheer to the residents of Upminster & Cranham.

Our Christmas Float, which has now been running for 50 years and more, was initially set up and run by the local Round Table in Upminster.

It has seen many changes since then, but is still seen by all our supporters as the event that kick starts their Christmas.

We run the float around local streets for 10 nights, culminating on the big night, Christmas Eve.

With Santa Claus on board, Christmas songs and carols playing out, it is a sight to be seen.

Special mention for residents in Forth Road and Stour Way, as they never fail to arrange a street party reception for us, fantastic !

We also have a static float outside the Post Office in Station Road Upminster, always great to chat with locals as they stop by with bags loaded with Christmas fayre.

You will also see us outside Tesco Gallows Corner, with Santa and his helpers, chatting to shoppers going about their last minute shopping.

The generosity of all our lovely supporters is legendary, thousands of pounds are raised every year to support many local charities and International disaster funds.
