HARWICH & DOVERCOURT ROTARY CLUB MARCH 2016 NEWSLETTER On Thursday March 10th our Foundation Committee organised the yearly Rotary Quiz and seven teams entered this year, with last year’s winners coming out top again. Thanks go to Rodney for providing the questions, Bob for organising the evening, the Cliff Hotel for providing food to whoever required sustenance and to Susan and Shane who once again ran a most successful raffle resulting in £82 being raised for Foundation. Yours truly was question master. ************************************* On Monday March 21st several members attended the 4-Club meeting at Woodbridge and enjoyed an evening of friendship and fellowship with the speaker Veola giving a most interesting talk about protocols and encounters (as the wife of a cathedral Dean) when entertaining members of the Royal Family.
