Invitation

Come and join the Rotary Club of Dunmow

Be part of something bigger. As part of a global network of 1.4 million members, the Rotary Club of Dunmow brings people together to support local communities and life-changing causes worldwide—including Rotary’s mission to end polio.

When we meet  (New schedule, as below, from May 7th 2026)
We meet regularly at the Saracens Head Hotel, Great Dunmow, with a relaxed mix of social and formal gatherings:

1st Thursday – Formal lunchtime meeting -12:30 for 13:00 lunch
3rd Thursday – Formal evening meeting -18:00 for 18:30 dinner
5th Thursday (if applicable) – Special Friday evening event with partners & friends

Some members will also gather socially in the Saracens Head Hotel bar at lunchtime on the 2nd & 4th Thursday's.

Formal meetings focus on planning events and community projects—everything else is about connection, friendship, and fun.

What we do
Our calendar is packed with events that make a real difference, such as:

Youth competitions (art, music, writing & more)
Community events like quizzes, concerts, and dinners
Environmental and hands-on projects like litter picking and bike recycling
Fundraising events that bring people together

Where the money goes
Every pound raised goes into our Trust Fund and is distributed to a wide range of local, national, and international charities—from youth groups and community services to major organisations like Cancer Research UK, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Who can join?
Anyone aged 18+ who wants to give back, meet great people, and enjoy being part of a supportive, active community.
