The Rotary Club of Dunmow Rose Bowl Quiz Winners!

On Friday 13th March, the Rotary Club of Dunmow hosted its 37th annual Rose Bowl Quiz. Over 90 quizzers battled through eight rounds of questions and a picture round to claim the coveted Dunmow Rotary Rose Bowl.

The Dunmow and District Probus Club Team emerged victorious for the sixth time in the competition’s history.  The team consisted of Joe Hobbs, Adrian Hoodless, Jennifer Hoodless, Angela Harbottle, Ron Gilder (capt), Marilyn Edwards, Bill Edwards, Ian Westall, all pictured with Lois Sparkes, Rotary Club of Dunmow President, in the middle presenting the Rose Bowl.

Congratulations to the Dunmow Probus Team and a huge thank you to all the participating teams. The quiz was a close competition with just five points separating the top three teams.

Funds raised at the event benefit the Rotary Club of Dunmow Charitable Trust.  This trust annually supports dozens of local charities and addresses community needs as they arise.
