Talk from and support for Uttlesford Community Transport
The Rotary Club of Dunmow was pleased to welcome Mick Bott from Uttlesford Community Travel to their weekly meeting this week. Mick gave an insight into the operation of UCT and how they serve the community providing cost effective transport with a fleet of minibuses. In addition, they facilitate private car transport for hospital appointments through a network of volunteer drivers.
The club also has a specific interest as it has been able to make a donation through the Collinson Legacy Fund to support the purchase of a new vehicle, which is scheduled to arrive in the next few weeks. Mick Bott is pictured thanking Barry Clark, immediate past President, for the contribution from the club.
