Donations to local organisations

The Rotary Club of Dunmow have been pleased to recently make three further donations to local organisations through their Collinson Legacy Fund, a legacy fund made available to support our community within a 10 mile radius of Great Dunmow.

The recipients on this occasion were Wholesome, UCAN & Uttlesford Buffy Playbus Association.

Wholesome is a local charity who work with local families and individuals to resolve issues and problems of immediate hardship.  The cheque was presented to Amanda Brown and Danielle Frost by Dunmow Rotarian David Beedle.

UCAN - Uttlesford Community Action Network, is a local charity who work to reduce loneliness and isolation in the local population and enable people to live independent, but supported and connected lives. The cheque was presented to Richard Corby and Clive Emmett by Dunmow Rotarian David Beedle.

Buffy Playbus is a mobile bus giving pre-school children the opportunity to play and socialise whilst having fun in a safe and supervised environment.
