From this year’s Dunmow Rotary Youth competitions four entrants went on through the District competitions to the National Rotary finals for Young Artist, Young Environmentalist, Young Photographer and Young Writer. Of the four finalists our Junior Young Environmentalist, Nicole, pupil of Felsted Primary School, won first place for her individual entry. Nicole’s entry was a project to show how the packaging found in the typical school lunchbox can be reduced to almost zero, which was very successful and praised by the judges.
Nicole, Ankhan & Matilda are pictured with Gloria Nichols and Jenny Versey, both District Rotary youth competition coordinators, who made the presentations, along with Barry Clark the current President of the Rotary Club of Dunmow.
