The prize winners are seen with Rotary Club of Dunmow President, Colin Bradley, Mayor of Dunmow, Cllr Alex Armstrong, Rotary District Youth Officer, Peter Dowse, and Rotary Club of Takeley President, Maureen Best.
Friday evening saw the annual Rotary Youth Competition awards being given to the prize winners of this year’s competitions. There were six competitions run by the Rotary Clubs of Dunmow & Takeley, which included Young Artist, Young Photographer, Young Writer, Young Musician, Young Environmentalist and Youth Speaks, a debating competition.
The winners of our local competitions then went on to compete at the District level with our Young Photographer, Young Musician and our Senior Youth Speaks team then going on to the Regional finals and our Young Environmentalist now progressing to the National final, on which we are awaiting the result.
Congratulation to all our winners and indeed all of those who took part in the Rotary 2022/23 Youth competitions, they are all a credit to themselves and their local communities.
