Dunmow Rotarian David Beedle, picked up the challenge of 'Walk a Mile for Polio' with his grandchildren completing 3.5km walk along some very muddy footpaths, resulting in some rather muddy grandchildren. However, a jolly good time was had by all, raising £35 in sponsorship. The sponsorship along with £100 from the Dunmow Rotary Club means £135 was raised, which is then matched 200% by the Bill Gates Foundation to give a grand total of £405 going towards the fight against Polio.
Well done David!
