This year’s Dunmow Rotary Rose Bowl Quiz took place once again on Friday 17th March in Foakes Hall. In all 15 teams took part answering 100 questions over 10 rounds, including History, Sport, General Knowledge, Science & Technology. The competition went to the wire with two teams ending on equal points after the main competition so it then went to a set of tiebreak questions to determine the winners, who were the Highfield Harriers.
The Highfield Harriers team, pictured, was made up of Linda & Charles Wilbe, Marilyn & Roger Hammond, Jenny Stear, Alan Hopkins, Lucy Myers & Colin Bradley.
Normally the Rose Bowl is presented by the Dunmow Rotary President, currently Colin Bradley, but as he was part of the winning team this went to President Elect Peter Watson to do the presentation.
Money raised at the event will be used by Dunmow Rotary to support local, national and international charities.
A very big thank you to all those who took part and congratulations to the Highfield Harriers.
