Members of the Rotary Club of Dunmow supported the Ride Essex event by running the feeding station at the Dourdan Pavilion in Dunmow. Ride Essex is a cycling event with five different routes from 32 to 100 miles around Essex, including gravel routes. This year 570 cyclists took part in the event, all of whom passed through the Dunmow feeding station at some point during the day. That’s a lot of cups of tea & coffee!
The event was organised by ‘Action Medical Research for Children’ to raise funds to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments vaccinations and cures.
