Presentation of the awards for the 2021/22 Dunmow Rotary Youth Competitions, Young Writer, Young Photographer, Young Artist & Young Musician.


Awards Event for the 2021/22 Rotary Club of Dunmow Youth Competitions.


Friday evening, 10th June 2022, saw the awards for the Dunmow Rotary 2021/22 Youth Competitions being present in the Rowena Davey Centre, also know as the Dunmow Day Centre.  The awards were made for the four competitions detailed below.  


The event was attended by the award winners and their families, the Dunmow Deputy Mayor Councillor Mike Coleman, Rotary District Youth Lead Peter Dowse, Dunmow Rotary President Michael Chapman and Dunmow Rotary Youth Competition co-ordinator Jenny Versey along with fellow Dunmow Rotary and Rotary in Takeley Rotarians. 


From the Dunmow Young Writer Competition Ankhan Aswani went forward to the District Competition, which she also won. 


In addition, from the Dunmow Young Musician Competition Nathan Quilter went onto the District Competition, held in Chelmsford Cathedral, at which he received a Comendation for his performance.

1. Young Writer. This competition is open to anyone from 5 -18 years old. Theme: Environment.


2. Young Photographer. This competition is open to anyone from 5 -18 years old. Theme: Colours of Nature.


3. Young Artist. This competition is open to anyone from 5-18 years old. Theme: Colours of Nature


4. Young Musician. Run online again this year for ages 7-18 years.
