At this weeks Rotary Club of Dunmow Zoom meeting, Dunmow Rotarian, Dr John Versey provided an interesting presentation on “Vaccination and the immune response”.
John worked at Westminster Medical School carrying out research work specifically in immunology. His presentation outlines current thinking on how viruses affect our immune system and how our bodies fight them. Secondly, the creation of vaccines is explained.
