Speaker David Brice - Afghanistan: the country and its railways
ABOUT DAVID BRICE
David spent his main career (34 years) with British Rail, initially, after managerial training, in ground-level operations management, followed by freight/ passenger planning at Headquarters level; responsibilities included replanning, re-equipment, and implementation of an updated UK freight train/terminal network. Final duties included implementation of start-up Channel Tunnel. freight services.
Subsequently working as a consultant UK/Worldwide he has undertaken major studies / critical audit of a large range of projects, covering mass transit schemes, Heavy Rail operations and freight/ passenger terminal projects. Much of his recent work has been in Eastern Europe/CIS countries..
