Military Wives Concert

A concert given by Wimbish Military Wives Choir in The Methodist Church, Bishop’s Stortford in aid of Isobel Hospice.

On 29th October, the Club presented a concert given by Wimbish Military Wives Choir in The Methodist Church, Bishop’s Stortford, and what a night it was! A large and enthusiastic audience enjoyed the performance of a talented and spirited choir, led by their accomplished MD, Sara Rimer Davey, in a varied programme of songs.
Moreover, the concert raised a profit of over £1000 for the Isobel Hospice! The evening was an undoubted success both financially and artistically - which also gave our audience a jolly good evening out! Our thanks go to everyone who supported us in any way.
