Held in our new venue of St Andrew's Church Hall, Stewart Street, Milngavie. Our lessons leant sfrom last year improved the quqeing process. There are stillmore lessons learnt this year to be investigated for improvement next year. There will be a one way system with entry from the hall door near the top of Stewart Street and the exit after seeing Santa into the garden area then down to the garden gate that takes you back onto Stewart Street.
The system that was implemented
Prams/buggies should be taken into the hall and taken with you into Santa to enable you to leave with all of your belongings (and children). Please do not leave them at the entrance doorway or in the hall foyer.
You will be issued a ticket for each child you buy a ticket for. This will have a number on it. A display near the doorway to Santa's Grotto will display the current ticket holder who is with Santa. When your ticket number is close to the current visitor please move towards the doorway to Santa. Before getting to the door please write your child's name and age on the ticket. This halps us select the correct age present and to give their name to Santa. Your assistance in keeping things moving will be appreciated.
As per last year there will be some tables in the hall that can be used to write a letter or draw apicture for Santa or to take home. As you do not need to queue you will be able to help your child(ren) write/draw.
As the need to queue has been removed you should be able to have a seat somewhere in the hall.
While we cannot predict the size of the queue at anytime experience shows that early in the afternoon is generally quieter than after 3pm.
