Four local students attended this week's meeting of Penrith Rotary Club to receive a cheque from club president David Dixon. William Nichol, 17 yrs from High Hesket, George Paterson, 17 from Armathwaite, Paul Mimak, 17 from Greystoke and Lewis Pamphilon 16 from Stainton have planned next year to
visit Borneo, trecking and conducting useful charity work. They have agreed to help construct a well in a small under developed village so that local families can benefit from a clean water supply.
