On Thursday, 02/11 we were delighted to welcome Debs Cowan from Food Train Connects which through a network of volunteers supports almost 500 older members of communities throughout Scotland.

Volunteers offer a variety of support from food shopping and home delivery for those who can no longer get out and about, befriending – both in person and by telephone, and by cooking and sharing an extra portion of a hot meal with an older person on a regular basis.

The members thanked Debs for her inspiring presentation and wished all future success to Food Train Connects.
