Linda Ballingall spoke to the Club about the story of the sinking of the Titanic 112 years ago, with readings of first-hand accounts from two survivors, Noel , Countess of Rothes and her maid Roberta. Haunting stories.

Thursday was Hallowe'en and Norman gave us a great talk on the Celtic origins of Halloween and celebrations through ages, with a fun quiz and lots of neeps and swedes. .

Eugene Connolly came to talk to the Club this Thursday to speak about Scottish hockey, with great stories from a very long and active career at the top level of the sport.
