On 21st April, a meeting in the Bistro at Conifox, Kirkliston, saw the judging of the Rotary Club of South Queenferry's Photographic Competition. Many members and partners attended while others joined in on Zoom. Alistair Pryde, a noted local photographer, was the judge.
Colin Ferrington was the overall winner with 'Returning home with breakfast' - showing a mother bird feeding her young.
Grainger Falconer won the Robert Clelland Quaich (Best Entry by a Rotarian) for his entry 'Ringbolt'.
Sarah Brownless came second with 'Home by the sea' and Ed Kelly was third with 'Home is where the hearth is'.
From entry fees and a raffle on the night, £345.00 was raised for the Freedom from Fistula Foundation.
Grainger, who organised the competition, thanked all who took part and also Alistair for picking the best from some very impressive entries.The theme of next year's competition will be 'Activity'.
