The Haven Gardens Opening

Friday 17th September saw the opening of The Haven garden at Queensferry Churches Care in the Community centre for senior citizens and other groups. With Covid restrictions limiting the normal range of Rotary activities, the Queensferry Club focused on improving and refurbishing community facilities. Club members carried out a complete renovation, redecoration and replanting of the garden.

At the reception Liz McIntosh, Joint General Manager of The Haven, thanked President Derek Clark, Immediate Past President Irene Brownless and project leader Craig MacKenzie on behalf of QCCC. She said the Rotarians' hard work had transformed the gardens which are really appreciated not only by Day Club Members but also by staff and visitors.
