Rotary boosts Kirkliston Defibrillator Fund

On Friday 13th November President Irene Brownless of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry handed over a cheque to a masked man at Kirkliston Kirk. It was a contribution of £750 towards the cost of a defibrillator which will be located at Kirkliston Parish Church. The equipment, which can provide emergency assistance in the case of heart attacks, will be provided by the Presbytery of Edinburgh. The masked man was David Buchanan representing Kirkliston Parish Kirk. David thanked Irene and the Rotary Club for its generous contribution which will go a long way to funding the defibrillator.
