Raffle: Alistair Rarity,
Reception: N/A,
The meeting was held via Zoom

On 3rd December 2020, the Rotary Club of South Queensferry held a Special General Meeting by Zoom. Because of current restrictions and uncertainty about operating conditions in the coming year, several decisions were held in abeyance.

The election of president for next year but one (2022-23) was postponed. The vice-presidency for next year remains vacant. Liz Mackenzie retains the post of secretary and Eric Proven the post of treasurer. Three voting delegates and their deputies were elected for the next RIBI Conference. This year's conferences are all on hold due to Covid 19. Accounts for the previous year were approved and  the OSCR report was circulated.

Secretary Liz Mackenzie announced that a letter of thanks had been received from The Vine Trust for the club's donation of £500. She reported that the Covid 19 pandemic had put a temporary halt to the Trust's volunteering programmes. However the hospital ship Forth Hope had resumed working on the Amazon in a Covid-safe manner. Our donation will be of great help in ensuring that a full medical programme can be restored when it is safe to do so.
