Business Meeting

On Thursday 13th August the Rotary Club of South Queensferry held a virtual Business Meeting hosted on Zoom by Norman Watson and Chaired by President Irene Brownless. Members were joined by Hon Member Jim Boyd. They discussed the club's future activities under current conditions. Reports were received from club officers and committee convenors. Owing to restrictions on events, the club will concentrate on Service Projects where members can become involved in various community activities in the Queensferry area. The International Committee convenor will investigate the best means of contributing to aid efforts in Lebanon following the recent Beirut explosion. A watching brief will be kept on resuming some of the club's normal programme of events as and when regulations permit.
