We sent an immediate payment of £500 to the Disaster Response Fund in March this year,(Until 30 April, all donations to this Fund were directed to local Rotary Clubs in those places offering support to the thousands of refugees pouring in from Ukraine and as this is a Rotary charity, every penny donated was prioritised for this purpose) followed by a collection outside Morrison's in Newtown, and have opened a Just Giving page. Overall we have raised about £1000 so far.
In April we sent a donation of £500 to Operation Sabre, who were supporting care of refugees flooding into Romania:

We also sent a donation of £500 to The International Rotary Fellowship of Healthcare Professionals who have Rotary contacts on the frontline in the Ukraine (to supply healthcare workers with equipment and drugs due to loss though bombing of their hospitals) and in Poland giving medical care to Refugees

more The Club did some fundraising through organising a Swimathon and raised over £2000. This money was split between the Teams taking part in the Swimathon, local and international projects in our Club. £500 was donated to Sand Dams in Africa and Asia.
