Rotary Bay Sports - latest
Second event - Target Golf
9 members of our club attended. A great evening with an excellent carvery and fellowship at Dainton Golf Club
two teams of three -
the "A" team - our 3 best golfers (David Pratley, Roy Bartlett and Andy Ryder)
the "B" team - (Martyn Cannan, Eddy Pyle and Peter Burcher)
the competition was very tough in the "A" league with our lads coming 5th. David was brilliant getting 16 out of 20 balls in the target- the 5th highest individual out of 36 players
our B team did excellently coming 2nd equal with Paignton.
Our Sports Officer was surplus to requirement so went and helped out Paignton B team in the true Rotary spirit of mutual support- for which our President levied a £1 fine on him the following evening!!.
Vanessa and Roger came along to support our two teams - or was it really for the carvery?
Results so far in the leagues are :
"A" league 4th place with 14 points
"B" league 5th place also with 14 points
