Children’s Week – Paignton Green
A great example of all the Rotary Clubs in Torbay working together.
We provided a wide ranging selection of games and activities (e g splat the rat) on the Wednesday of the event.
Preston and Paignton manned the now famous Human Fruit Machine- just like the Las Vegas casino slot machines except winners received a healthy prize.
Each of the three Rotarians held up a single piece of fruit. If all three matched (eg three bananas) the player won a piece of fruit (no expense spared !).
The look of joy and laughter on the faces of the children, and parents, made it a really enjoyable experience for us too.
More similar events are being planned for next year.
