Guest Speaker Local Sculptor Elisabeth Hadley
Elisabeth Hadley was born in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and from a very early age her mother noticed that she had an artistic talent which luckily her mother very much encouraged.
After a Foundation Course Elisabeth went to Bristol Polytechnic where she studied for her B.A. (Hons) in Ceramics.
Elisabeth moved to Brixham in 1997. She now works from a studio at home.
In 2016 Elisabeth completed a one and a half times life size memorial sculpture in bronze which is now positioned on the harbourside in Brixham as a tribute to and celebration of the fisherman of the town.
In 2025 she completed a commission for Torbay Council, The Agatha Christie bronze sculpture which is now installed on Torquay Harbour front.
The ROTARY CLUB of PRESTON (TORBAY) Partners Night Wednesday October 8th 2025 6.30 for 7pm
at The Paignton Club

There will be a 2 course meal followed by coffee at a price of £ 21.50.
A menu with choices including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available.
