PRESIDENT 2024-2025

President Pamela Cox taking on the role of President of Ilfracombe Rotary for the second time

President Pamela Cox PHF

It’s an honour, once again, to take our club into a New Rotary Year and this one is 2024-25.

We are conscious that our Club is part of District 1175, RIBI and Rotary International, all of us united under the Rotary banner of ‘Service Above Self’. We are also very proud of the characteristics of our club that make us unique. It is because club members are prepared to go that extra mile that we can maintain our continuing responsibility for these distinctive features.

We are very active both internationally and in our local community and without the committed support of members of the Club and our volunteers, we could not continue our stewardship of the Grade 1 listed St Nicholas Chapel on Lantern Hill – surely a unique privilege for a Rotary Club.

Together with the Chapel and our own annual Rotary Pop-up Charity Shop, there are other events and occasions that bring all members and their families and friends together. Both Club’s fundraisers are a major commitment when they are open, and of course, members also help with marshalling and supporting events in the town.

But we also enjoy ourselves! We hope to maintain a social calendar throughout the year with in-house events, visits to other venues, dining out, interclub competitions, and other collaborations.

Members’ families, Visitors and Friends are always welcome to join us on any occasion.
